This deluxe kit includes an airlock lid which allows gases to escape from your fermentation while keeping oxygen out. This greatly reduces the risk of harmful yeasts and mould. The airlock lid comes with an airlock device, silicone grommet and silicone seal.

Our glass weights are designed to keep your fermentation under the brine. To use the weights, add your salted vegetables to the jar. Place a follower on top of the brine (either a large cabbage or grape leaf). Secure in place with the glass weight. They are heavy enough to keep even an active fermentation under the brine. The small handle makes it easy to remove your weight from the jar.
